Best Potato Soup in Alabama is Moving

Bill Glenn's Mtn Grill is celebrating it's last weekend in Dogtown, Alabama this Friday and Saturday.
Many folks from far and wide have declared the potato soup to be the best they have ever eaten, and it's a big bowl.
One savvy diner says the ribs melt in your mouth, a texture much finer, and taste better than Bear Bryant's Widely acclaimed place in Tuscaloosa.
One fellow from Oklahoma had it twice in one day so you know it is good.
Homemade Sweet pickles on the fabulous salad bar.

Here is the Glenn's statement of Transition. New place will be just 7 minutes off I-59 at Collinsville exit 205, follow 68 East to top of the Mtn just before the Descent into Leesburg, Alabama.

And if you have two meals in Collinsville, check out the great food at China House where my friends Chen and Lupe serve a great meal.
Say Hello to Octavio there; he's goin to Ga Tech some day, you can see it in his eyes.

For that we are truly thankful. The Lord has blessed us and we have had a successful 5 1/2 years. Now just so you know, OUr land lord has asked that we sign a lease for 5 years and we're sorry that we cannot do that, so we have lost our lease and we will be moving to 85 Overlook St. in Sand Rock right off Highway 68. May the 1st will be our last night to be open here but we ask that you come and visit us at our new locations when we get it built in Sand Rock. We hope to have it open by early fall if not sooner. When we open we will have a new expanded menu and the same family atmosphere. OUr new place will seat approximately 140 people and we will also have a new party room that will seat 50, and a parking lot with plenty of parking.
Handicap parking and accessiable bathrooms is one of our main concerns and will be available. We look forward to our new location and we hope you will too.
