Collinsville the Talk of Bama this King Weekend/ SELMA

On Tuesday, Jan 20, this story got picked up by national magazine Mother Jones site. 50 some odd comments and counting. Times-Journal oped after a good front page story and oped over the weekend, backed off today and said students should skip the movie and read To Kill a Mockingbird. TKAM is worthy but the lovie is most timely for an informed and educated people as a Baylor  history proff points out today at ethicsdaily.com.

While Hugh Taylor is doing some remedial work, his extended family should add the highly acclaimed Dennis Hopper movie, Paris Trout, to the learning curve.

Original post follows

Collinsville History Club denial to see the movie Selma  by the Tea Party School Supe is the talk of Bama today and the story could go national.

Warren's Graveyard Baptist Church is the base of operations for the Hicks/Taylor family that is married into another DeKalb county dynasty.

Bama fortune parlayed into the Cornerstone Christian School at the expense of Solomon Stanton and my hero Neil Thrash; fortune made as a potato broker (hicks); and moonlighting as a public school annual photographer. Took that money to the Tea Party Christians and Mike Hubbard's Bleaching strategies it appears.

And Robert Wuthnow thought he had plumbed Rough Country.

This could be an Oxford American Story before it's over; it's real big today, Momma's hometown getting the biggest notice ssince Rolling Stone Documentarian Brett Morgen was here in 92; and throw in the Turkey Trot to boot,

I'm comin back to this. Crestfallen cause it's upstaging the rollout of my contribution  to UTenn published book Exiled Generations.
